WWinJur is organized according to the activities of a law firm, the menu is designed accordingly (tabs). The menu above corresponds to the tabs in WinJur. The WinJur address administration was designed especially for lawyers. Addresses are needed in the most diverse contexts and must be found and used easily and quickly. The addresses in WinJur are only collected once and used as project / client address, as information in "Relationships / Relationships / Network", in all documents, for mailings, export in Outlook etc. Changes, adjustments, extensions are made only once centrally.
We call the well-known index card in its electronic form succinctly log. Here are recorded per project / mandate all activities: fees, expenses, documents, invoices, payments, deadlines, etc.All information can be displayed according to your needs. For example, if you want to see all appointments for this customer in chronological order, you can use the log filter to create your own personal view. The log entries can be sorted, e.g. by user, by log type, etc. All entries can be opened and viewed with a double-click.
The TimeSheet is a fast and very easy-to-use performance and expense tracking system. The data entry field is combined with text and / or Autotext and TimeSheet shortcuts
The "Document Automation" tab contains all editing options for documents.

The WinJur search has been specially developed for easy and quick searching. In «Standard» you can search according to fixed criteria, in «Expert», «Conflict of interest» and «Full text search» (option) you can search for individual criteria. These may differ from this description depending on the settings.
Many documents are automatically installed with the WinJur setup, such as the WinJur manual, first steps in WinJur etc. (menu Tools / Help). The latest version of these documents is available here:
WinJur uses industry standards (Microsoft Windows, SQL Server, Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint ...). The Personal and Workgroup Edition user interface is the same as the Enterprise Edition, but the Enterprise Edition database layer is directly linked to a SQL Server Database connected through the SQL Server Native Client (instead of to an Access database (.accdb) via ODBC as in the Personal / Workgroup Editions). One advantage among others is that demos and tests can be done without prior installation of MS SQL Server. WinJur has customers with up to 250 users on a SQL Server! Most of the work is delegated to SQL Server with stored procedures (real client / server), resulting in less network traffic. Hierarchical view with any number of clients / cases / projects and contacts / addresses (works like the Windows Explorer with unlimited levels with full support of drag & drop) The menu / ribbon reflects the work steps and is specially tailored to the activities in a law firm. We attach great importance to a user-friendly approach, especially in the design of the user interface. WinJur supports Windows Drag & Drop of documents / files (including emails / attachments to or from Outlook). The main WinJur program is programmed in Visual C ++. We use Microsoft Visual Studio and generate a native executable file (like Microsoft Word, Excel etc.). For other modules and add-ons, we usually use C # or Delphi.
